The killer took some stuff from the house, and her car. On Saturday December 1st, Police found the car, a two-tone green 2001 Lexus ES 300 four door sedan, in an apartment parking lot near University and Kendall in San Bernardino. Police arrested a suspect on Friday April 5, 2013. They are still looking for more suspects and the investigation is continuing.

The Blaskey family would like to thank the 911 operator who took the call, and the first responders of the San Bernardino Police and Fire Departments, who were there within minutes. We would also like to thank Detectives Al Tello, Glenn O’Neill, Bill Flesher and Sergeant Gary Robertson for their kindness and dedication. We are grateful to the entire San Bernardino Police Department for their extraordinary effort on this case.
We would also like to thank all our friends and family for their support. We would not be able to get through this without you.
It is not possible to convey the depth of our sorrow and sadness at losing our Mom, or the horror that someone as warm and wonderful as Mary Beth should die a cruel, wrongful death.
To the many people who knew and loved Mary Beth and the many lives that she touched: Please remember her for who she was and how she lived, not how she died. Mary Beth did not live her life as a victim.
